The major benefit of this approach is that the simple inclusion (or deletion) of any user from a specific training group (using your Active Directory), will automatically (by FileWay) determine the access pivileges of that user to all the shared resources of that group.
1. Create a new group in your Active Directory. Individuals included in this group (using your Active Directory) will have automatic access to any resources available to this group (as defined by FileWay).
When any individual is added or removed from this group, all their secure remote access rights to these course materials will be enabled or revoked automatically by FileWay.
2. Set group server access using FileWay.
Define this group's access rights to any specific server or group of servers that hold the course materials.
3. Set group folder access using FileWay.
Define this group's access rights to any or all specific folders on these servers that hold the specific course materials to be shared. Any folder can be defined as upload, download or both as required.
4. Documents to be shared.
These shared folders may contain any course material documents including many popular word, spreadsheet and presentation formats.
5. Videos to be shared.
These shared folders can also contain video files. Most popular formats are supported but will require the IT manager to define which ones are included. When allowed, these video files will play without requiring previous downloading (similar in function to youtube)
6. Folders for homework assignments.
To allow the uploading of reports and assignments by teams or individuals in group.
